Alliance Bank was looking to create a flagship branch in the Brentwood / West Los Angeles area. The space provided some obstacles due to the area's multiple large columns and segmentation in two by an emergency staircase. This staircase, however, was utilized to divide the space into a loan operations department and a bank branch department. Also, a curve repeated every 30"” further organized the space by defining wall locations, ceiling details and the layout of the teller line.
